Speed Racer
Hell! I watched another movie today, after twice of Iron Man in a week! The short review, here goes:
- Told ya, Emile Hirsch’s such a hottie too. I wanna see him in Into The Wild.
- Christina Ricci is very cute in this movie, she looks different.
- Too much fantasy and colours; which is cute, but sometimes annoying.
- I’m a fan of Disney-kind-of-endings, so I’m a bit disappointed when Rex did not.. (watch yourself)
- Incomparable with “The Matrix” Trilogy, I had thought of something “bigger” and “wow-er”.
- We were taken to a Fantasyland, I could not understand :(
- Good movie, but since I didn’t watch Speed Racer animation, I did not fully enjoy it.

The Wachowski bros certainly put a lot of effort into making Speed Racer… but the movie overall looked and felt like a cross between anime, a kaleidoscope, that Flintstones movie, a video game and the Dukes of Hazard
Yes, I absolutely agree. They use a lot of money too :D The anime was simpler, but I think it’s better. It should have fit 6-year-old children as its audience, IF they didn’t put sexy suits on Christina Ricci. Thanks for commenting, greetings from Indonesia!
